Privacy Policy

Effective date: January 10, 2019

Veidos StretchOut, a software with associated services (hereinafter referred to as the "App"), is provided by: Veidos AB (559174-8164), Vaksalagatan 45, 753 31 Uppsala, Sweden ("us", "we" or "our").

Veidos AB is the personal data controller for the processing of the personal data covered by this Privacy Policy. If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or your personal information, you can contact us by e-mail: stretchout@veidos.nu.

This Privacy Policy refers to the collection and processing of personal data through the App, and supplements the Terms of Use that apply to the use of the App. If there are any inconsistencies between this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use, the latter shall prevail.

By installing the App, you agree to the collection and use of the personal data in accordance with this policy.

1. Categories of personal data

In order to be able to provide and improve the App we collect several different categories of personal data.

User information

When you open the App from or via a mobile device, we may automatically collect some information, including but not limited to the type of mobile device you use, your unique mobile device ID, your mobile device's IP address, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile network readers you use, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic tasks.

Statistics and cookie information

We use so-called cookies to follow the activity in the App and to obtain certain statistical data.

Cookies are files with a small amount of data that can contain an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to your web browser from a website and stored on your device. We can also use so-called beacons, tags and scripts to collect information to improve and analyze the App.

You can instruct your network reader to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is sent. If you do not accept cookies, however, you cannot use any parts of the App.

Examples of cookies we use:

  1. Session cookies. We use session cookies to run the App.
  2. Setting Cookies. We use setting cookies to remember your settings and different settings.
  3. Security Cookies. We use security cookies for security reasons.

2. Purpose of the processing

We process the personal data collected in order to

  1. provide and maintain the App
  2. notify you of changes to the App
  3. make it possible for you to participate in interactive features of the App, when you choose to do so
  4. provide customer care and support
  5. obtain valuable information that we can analyze so that we can improve the App
  6. monitor the use of the App
  7. discover, prevent and solve technical problems

Specifically about analysis

We can use third-party suppliers, eg Google Analytics, to monitor and analyze the use of the App. Google Analytics is a web analytics service offered by Google that tracks and reports website traffic. Google uses data collected to track and monitor the use of the App. These data are shared with other Google services. Google can use the aggregate data to contextualise and customize the ads in its own ad network.

You can opt out of certain Google Analytics features via the settings of your mobile device, such as device advertising settings or by following the instructions from Google in their privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en

Specifically about service providers

We may use a third party as a service provider to enable us to provide the App and provide service related services. These third parties have access to your personal data only for the purpose of performing these tasks on our behalf and are under obligation not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

3. Legal basis

The basis for the processing of personal data with regard to

  1. the provision of the App and the performance of service measures thereon, is that it is necessary to fulfill an agreement in which the user is a party;
  2. statistical and cookie information, is that it is necessary for purposes related to our legitimate interests, while in this case the user's interests or fundamental rights and freedoms do not weigh heavier.

4. Period of storage

Your personal data is deleted at the latest 26 months after they were collected.

5. Transfer

We transfer all personal data we collect to Sweden and process the data in Sweden. In Sweden, the EU data protection regulation (GDPR) applies. We will take all reasonable steps necessary to ensure that your personal data is processed in accordance with the GDPR and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Google applies the so called EU-U.S. Privacy Shield. Should Google, due to our use of Google Analytics, transfer personal data to USA it will be in accordance with the terms of the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield, thus also in accordance with the GDPR.

6. Disclosure

We may disclose your personal information if such action is necessary to:

  1. exercise the right to freedom of expression and information
  2. fulfill a legal obligation
  3. be able to determine, enforce or defend legal claims
  4. prevent or investigate any inaccuracies associated with the App
  5. protect the personal security of users of the App or the public

7. Security

The security of your personal information is important to us, but no transfer method over the Internet or other electronic storage method is completely safe. Although we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Links to other websites

The app may contain links to other websites that are not operated by us. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to the third-party website. We recommend that you review the privacy policy for each website you visit.

We have no control over and take no responsibility for content or privacy policy regarding third party websites or services.

9. Children's integrity

Our service is not aimed at anyone under the age of 18 ("children") and we do not intentionally collect personal data from anyone under the age of 18. If we are informed that we have collected personal data from children without the consent of the guardian, we will immediately delete the personal data.

10. Your rights

  1. You have the right to receive free of charge a copy of the personal information about you that is being processed.
  2. You have the right to rectify incorrect personal data without undue delay and to supplement incomplete personal information.
  3. You have the right to have your personal data deleted ("the right to be forgotten") without undue delay.
  4. You have the right to limit the processing of personal data that concerns you, i.e. marking of stored personal data with the aim of limiting their processing in the future.
  5. You have the right to object to the processing of personal data regarding you, e.g. regarding direct marketing.
  6. You have the right to obtain the personal information about you that you have provided to Veidos AB in a structured, generally used and machine-readable format and the right to transfer this information to someone else without Veidos AB being able to prevent this.
  7. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the The Swedish Data Protection Authority (Datainspektionen).

11. Updates

Veidos AB reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy. The most recent version of this Privacy Policy is always available via the App.
